Dr. Bradly Green
Dr. Green is excited about fostering lifelong relationships here at his practice, Potomac Woods Family Dental Care. A native New Yorker, Dr. Green was born and raised in Queens. He received his undergraduate and Doctor of Dental Surgery degrees at the University of Maryland, Baltimore and was formerly Managing Clinical Director at a busy practice in the DC metropolitan area. He has provided pro bono dental services for Mission of Mercy, a not-for-profit organization that provides dental treatment to the underserved, in addition to participating in Moveable Feast, a non-profit that aims to improve the health of Marylanders experiencing food insecurity & chronic illness. Dr. Green enjoys treating patients of all ages and backgrounds, one of the reasons he chose the Rockville/Park Potomac area as the backdrop to his own practice. His interests include spending time with his family, traveling, reading, and staying up-to-date with the most recent dental treatments available.
Dr. Sang-Hoon Park
Potomac Woods Family Dental Care & Dental Implant Center is thrilled to announce the addition of a highly experienced Periodontist, Dr.Sang-Hoon Park, to our practice.
For over 20 years, Dr. Park has been performing implant dentistry, managing a wide range of periodontal diseases (“gum disease”), and performing cosmetic gum surgeries in Virginia and Maryland. He graduated from the Faculty of Dentistry at the University of Toronto in Canada, where he earned the degree of Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) with honors. He completed the periodontics specialty program and Master of Science in Oral Biology degree at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. He was awarded the Lazzara Fellowship for excellence in implant dentistry by the American Academy of Periodontology (AAP). Since 2005, Dr. Park has been a board-certified diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. For over six years, he served as a full-time assistant professor at the University of Michigan and the University of Maryland in their graduate periodontics program.
Dr. Park’s notable career accomplishments include numerous scientific publications in internationally recognized peer-reviewed journals, including the Journal of Periodontology, Clinical Oral Implant Research, International Journal of Oral Maxillofacial Implants, Implant Dentistry, and more. He has won numerous national clinical research competitions, significantly focusing on human bone regeneration for the preparation of implant placement. Dr. Park attests that the success of dental implants depends on the quality and quantity of bone regenerated. His extensive clinical and scientific background in bone regeneration greatly improves the long-term success of implant therapy.
Dr. Park approaches every one of his patients very personably and kindly. However, he takes periodontics very seriously and professionally, as the surgical aspect of dental medicine should be. He is very happy to be a dental surgical specialist. In his spare time, Dr. Park enjoys reading and writing books, playing the piano, and hiking with family and friends.
Brita earned her dental hygiene degree at SUNY Farmingdale in Long Island, New York, graduating with honors and earning commendations for her work in community service. She also earned an Associate’s Degree in Business Administration from Berkeley Claremont School of Business. After practicing in New York in general dentistry, she moved to Maryland where she concentrated her career and education towards periodontal care. She is an active member of American Dental Hygienists’ Association and the Long Island Dental Hygienists’ Association. She is the proud parent of three wonderful, young women and her grandson Mikey. Brita’s interests include motorcycle riding, boating, and kayaking.
Sandy graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. She has worked at our practice for many years and has great compassion for her patients. Sandy is an active member of the American Dental Hygienists’ Association. Her service to others is her highest priority. “I get great satisfaction from those whose dental health is better after visiting our office,” says Sandy. She is married, has two children, and three sweet granddaughters. She loves spending time with her family and friends.
Helen is an expanded function dental assistant and has been working in this practice for the last 19 years. She received her certification from the Southern Maryland Dental Society. Helen says, “We are like a family here, and we love taking care of our patients and their families.” Helen grew up in Rockville, MD. She is married and the proud parent of six children. In her spare time, Helen excels at the arts and crafts projects she loves so much and looks forward to her yearly DC Bike Ride.
Anna takes pride in providing patients with a relaxed and comfortable environment in order to ensure a positive dental experience. She is an expanded function dental assistant and has worked in this practice for the last 32 years. Most days she can be found seated at the front desk where she assists in every aspect of the dental practice. Anna is married and enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, and reading a good book.
